Kauffmann No1 duvet

I’ve travelled all over the world sourcing goodbed linen for the British market and when I found this range I knew it would be the best duvet available in theUK.

Exceptionally light and yet very warm, these 100% Eastern Siberian goose downduvets are superbly breathable and have to be felt to be believed.  They offer a dry and even warmth and are very, very light - the 12 Tog is only 235g/m² and the 4.5 Tog a mere 75g/m².

The luxurious champagne-colour cover is 45% silk and 55% Tencel (lyocell) and is both incredibly light and soft. 

The goose down, which comes from free-rangegeese, is hand-sorted and hand-filled into the duvets and pillows infinely-measured quantities.

The duvet is suitable for allergy sufferers as the cover is tightly woven andprovides an effective barrier against dust mites, which are the principal causeof dust allergies.  They carry the NOMITE logo,confirming they are suitable for people who suffer from house dust allergies*.

The filling conforms to European standards EN12934:1999 assuring the purity of the down.

The cover has a cassette constructionto keep the down spread evenly in use. The size of the cassette is carefully designed and varies depending on the thickness. The baffle wall between each cassette increases with the Tog of theduvet to allow the down to expand and create exceptional loft – this also ensuresthere are no cold spots.

The duvet edges are piped.
