I am often asked 'How should I wash my duvet?'

Duvets & pillows should always be washed according to the detailed instructions on the care label. 

Feather & down duvets are best laundered commercially, as they need to be dried thoroughly, in a large capacity drier to prevent mildew.

Silk duvets are best spot cleaned with lukewarm water and gentle soap.

Synthetic duvets may be washed occasionally. For allergy sufferers choose the spundown range which may be washed at 60^oC, the temperature which kills dustmites. This award winning duvet has an ultracompressible, polyester microfibre filling ensuring all sizes fit into a domestic washing machine.

Duvets and pillows must never be dry cleaned.   The solvents used would remain in the filling.  However your cleaner should offer a laundering service.

All duvets benefit from regular airing. Fold your bed covers back each day to air before you make the bed and occasionally hang your duvet on the line to freshen it up.
